Yiewsley Baptist Church and Pastor Rich Blake-Lobb have invited the Conservative, Labour and Green party candidates to a Hustings on Friday, April 27th. Doors will open at 6:30 and pre-registration is requested.

#SplashMob #YiewsleyLido: a Splashing Success!

#SplashMob was an unqualified success since it rained, and we all got wet. Another fine day in the best of British tradition at the #YiewsleyLido.

Splashing! Some nibbles, bottles of water, even a glass of wine ... what's not to like. It was a nice afternoon to talk with each other and dig a little deeper into issues of electoral imbalance, the covenants on our park land, and the Council's development plans

St Matthews Community Clean Up

This event has now passed. But you can still read about the fun! On Saturday, April 14th, 2018, members of your local community joined in a community clean up effort organised by St Matthews ChurchSt Matthews Church. This was an opportunity for people to get outside on a nice day, meet their neighbours and talk about how we can work together for the benefit of our community. A bit of hard work, and lots of time to talk. At OCM, we hope that a few hours here and there will begin to add up to make a difference.

Claiming back our hut

Hillingdon Council wants to clear away the bowls hut from Yiewsley Recreation Ground to make way to be 41 flats on the site. A small group of residents and OCM supporters turned out last minute in the rain to protest the systematic dismantling of our community resources.

First Public Meeting -Yiewsley Methodist Church

This event has now passed. But you can still read about the fun.

On the evening of February 15th, 2018, approximately 80 local residents, including two West Drayton councillors, gathered at Yiewsley Methodist Hall for an open forum to talk about the issues that matter most to us as a community. From this meeting, "Community Forum" was born to begin to help us communicate and collaborate.
